What better way to celebrate a wonderful month than with my first “Month in Review” post. Woohoo!
In August, I launched my Freebie Friday series which means I’ll be releasing a new free printable every Friday. (Or “most” Fridays… I may have gotten myself into trouble with this one because this will mean a lot of printables, but it’ll be fun.) You can find them here: 2013 Day Planner, Weekly Cleaning Checklist, and Meal Planning and Grocery List or by clicking the “Printables” tab above.
I also shared my Organized Utensil Drawer, which has made a huge difference in how quickly I’m able to find things. I’m happy to report it’s still organized and looking beautiful!
The hard and happy moments of motherhood were discussed in Momopause, and I’m happy to know a few others were entertained by this post and blessed to be undergoing the same change.
I also shared a quote from Martin Luther King, Jr. that talked about being the best version of yourself you can be. My synopsis isn’t nearly as eloquent as his beautiful words so you can find those here. Trust me, it’s worth reading the real thing.
I updated my About Me page and gave you glimpse behind the curtain at the crazy lady writing this blog. Most importantly, I took a minute to thank you all for your kind words as I relaunched this little hobby. I’m having a great time, and that’s due in large part to you and your kind words of support.
I hopefully induced some drooling with two recipes: Chicken Tetrazzini and Ice Cream & Pear Parfait. These are two of my family’s favorites so I hope you’ll try them and let me know what you think. However, I do feel the need to tell you that overindulging is sometimes a side effect of having this food in your home. You’ve been warned.
Finally, I shared the $0 Anniversary Gift that I made for my husband. It’s amazing what you can create when you shop your own home and put a little thought into what you’re giving to someone, isn’t it? I love that I was able to give him something so special with the extra treat of not spending a dime.
Now on to a new month with lots of fun posts and projects ahead!
